About Naomi

Curious, understanding, and here to walk alongside you.

I became a therapist because I believe people deserve to feel seen, understood, and accepted as they are. I wanted to create the kind of support I would want to receive myself: a space where you don't have to have the right words, where your experiences are taken seriously, and where you can explore who you are without being told who you should be.

I work with neurodivergent, queer professionals who are navigating trauma and anxiety. Using EMDR, DBT skills, and person-centered work, I help my clients discover new sides of themselves, gain tools for their toolboxes, and understand themselves more fully. Through our work together, my clients learn to both honor themselves and grow.

The people I work with are often navigating some of the same questions I've grappled with myself, on identity, relationships, belonging, and healing. I don't believe a therapist needs to share the same experiences as their clients, but I do believe that curiosity, understanding, and humility can go a long way.

Trauma-Focused Neurodivergent-Affirming Queer-Affirming Identity-Affirming Warm & Collaborative

I do this work because I want people to experience the kind of understanding, support, and compassion that every person deserves. I believe that sometimes being truly seen by another person can help us begin to see ourselves differently.

My Approach to Therapy

We don't just talk about what's going on.

Life is hard, and you don't have to hold it alone. Maybe you've been trying so long to hold it all together that things are starting to fall through the cracks, or you're struggling with anxiety, or you're burnt out. My work is trauma-informed, identity-affirming, and neurodiversity-affirming. My hope is that you leave our work together with tools in your toolbelt and feeling more connected to yourself.

👁

EMDR Therapy

Unlock your brain's natural ability to heal by gently processing the root causes of anxiety and trauma. EMDR helps reduce overwhelming stress and rewire anxious patterns so you can feel calmer and more in control, ready to move forward with confidence.

🌱

DBT

Build practical, concrete skills for managing intense emotions and navigating relationships. DBT helps you find balance between acceptance and change, so you can respond to difficult moments with steadiness rather than being swept away by them.

🧩

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

Discover and heal the different parts of yourself that hold anxiety's story. IFS therapy helps you build self-compassion and inner harmony, so anxiety loses its grip and you can respond with greater clarity and calm.

"Therapy with me feels like a warm hug. I am welcoming, open, and willing to meet people where they are."

How Therapy With Me Is Different

A soft place to land, and a steady hand to hold.

Clients come to me because they need support, whether that's working through trauma or anxiety, or building practical tools to deal with ADHD. I strive to be a soft place to land to discuss a client's whole self. Clients have told me I am non-judgmental, understanding, and that I care about their success and go the extra mile.

I believe you know yourself best. You take the lead, and I will support you. After our work together, clients often notice feeling more at home in themselves, feeling less alone or misunderstood, a greater sense of self-acceptance and belonging, and moving through difficult experiences without losing themselves.

Is This a Good Fit?

I work best with certain kinds of people.

My clients often come in with a sense that something is off but can't quite name it. If any of these resonate, we might be a good fit.

Who's a Good Fit

  • Teens and young adults navigating identity, relationships, and a world that can feel overwhelming
  • Sensitive, thoughtful, or deeply feeling people who spend a lot of time thinking about why they feel the way they feel
  • People navigating questions of identity, belonging, or self-worth
  • People-pleasers who struggle to receive care as easily as they give it
  • Neurodivergent folks who want a space where they can trust their own perspective
  • Clients ready for deeper, more concentrated work

Who's Not a Good Fit

  • Currently in active crisis or needing intensive psychiatric care (I can provide referrals)
  • Looking for quick, surface-level symptom relief rather than deeper, concentrated work
  • Prefer a rigid, step-by-step program over a warm, collaborative relationship where you take the lead
  • Not looking for a neurodivergent-affirming, queer-affirming, or trauma-informed approach

Unsure? We can always chat in a consultation to see if we're the right match.

Who I Help

I work with people carrying things that talk therapy alone hasn't reached.

🌱

Teens & Young Adults

It's hard navigating life transitions, emotions, school stress, relationships, confidence, and identity all together. I use conversation and creativity to build trust.

🔄

Sensitive, Thoughtful, or Deeply Feeling People

People who are highly self-aware and still find themselves stuck in patterns they understand intellectually.

🧩

People Navigating Identity, Belonging, or Self-Worth

Therapy can be a place to explore gender, sexuality, values, self-esteem, and the complicated process of becoming fully yourself.

💬

People-Pleasers

People who have learned to adapt or hide parts of themselves to feel accepted, and want to practice noticing their wants, needs, feelings, and limits.

Neurodivergent Folks

If you're autistic, an ADHDer, or navigating another form of neurodivergence, and want a space where you can trust your own perspective.

Clients Ready for Deeper Work

If you're curious about the "why" beneath your thoughts and patterns, and want concentrated, extended sessions for deeper processing.

Clinical Experience

Training that goes where insight alone cannot.

5+ years of clinical experience, EMDR and DBT training, and active licenses across three jurisdictions.
